Nearly Nine Months Since Surgery
This is a reflection. If you've been here for a hot second, perhaps you've already read this version of it.

I wrote that a few days after surgery.
Today, as I am getting closer to nine months since surgery, and starting to see the version of my body that is slowly settling into itself, I felt inspired to create. In this case, it's another piece that allow me to process the grief, the joy, the wisdom, the education, and the overall texture of my seventh surgery.
If you watch this, do me a favor and give it a like or a comment of a ❤️ on YouTube. Part of why I'm sharing it in video form is because I got so much from the many womenfolk who shared about their journey is with the diversity of issues that come with fibroids endometriosis, and hysterectomy choices.
May this video be a space of exploration, and perhaps even a moment of comfort if you or someone you love is in the thick of body woes brought on brought on by fibroids. I'm happy more people are talking about it now. Let's keep those conversations going.
