(Invite) Monthly Grief Affinity Circle

LET'S HEAL TOGETHER

Grief doesn’t demand clarity or resolve—it asks for our presence, our curiosity, and our permission to feel it fully.

Join me to honor your grief judgment-free. In this free monthly gathering, we will:

  • Dispel the harmful myths about grief that leave us feeling isolated.
  • Recognize the patterns we lean on during relief while evolving our grief-tending skills.
  • Offer and receive the kind of listening that nurtures each person’s unique story.

Grief work isn’t about figuring it all out or moving on. It’s about tending to the human need for connection, expression, and care. Let’s take this time to meet ourselves and each other while we cultivate a sense of curiosity about grief’s lessons, even in the midst of deep discomfort.

This circle is for you—for the parts of your grief that feel too heavy to carry alone and for the parts that might still be unraveling in ways you can’t quite yet name.

Grief has been a teacher in my life for as long as I can remember. It showed up when my mother faced an aggressive cancer diagnosis (which she survived), and today as my beloved grandmother faces the realities of Alzheimer’s. It visits me in the quiet shifts of motherhood, where joy and grief often sit side by side. And it continues to shape my understanding of identity, loss, and what it means to honor endings—not just of people, but also relationships, dreams, and parts of ourselves we thought we’d always be.

As a Certified Integrative Thanatologist, my work is rooted in honoring the deeply personal ways grief moves through each of us. I don’t bring quick fixes or tidy answers to this circle, but I do bring a commitment to tending grief in all its forms, with curiosity and care. This is a space where your grief can be witnessed without judgment, where your experiences are valid no matter how society might have overlooked or dismissed them.

  • Grief doesn’t need to be solved, but it deserves attention. We’ll practice “trusting towards” whatever arises, even when it feels unclear or incomplete.
  • We’ll locate ourselves within our truths and allow space for others to do the same, embracing the diversity of grief and its many forms.
  • This container is about connection, not outcomes. We’re here to hold space for each other and for the stories that desperately need tending.

You’ll find that our time together is both structured and spacious. We’ll weave in opportunities to speak, listen, and reflect, always centering relationship and care over resolution.

This work isn’t about erasing grief but learning to live with it—trusting it to teach us what it means to release, to rest, and to root ourselves in what still remains. I look forward to walking alongside you as we navigate this together.
