Into scenic routes? This WILD season is for you.
Today marks one year and a day since I published the first few episodes of WILD, a grief literacy podcast.

Last week dem time ya I had an idea to savor my experiences and experiments around the show's second season. The energy behind the idea was that this podcast is more than its episodes. My entire process, as a willing grief explorer, is to share my journey, not just my education. Unschooling gave me that muscle, and this podcast is stretching it in ways I didn’t expect.
Now, I know that there is no need for me to feel anxious about the made-up timeline I created to publish episodes of season 2.
Instead, I offer my process the same respect as I gave to the production of each already-existing episode.
This season is rooted in Los Angeles. In people. In place. In what grief feels like when it’s shared in real time, and when it's reflected on later.
Our February gathering… I’m still sitting with that.
Eight of us. Just eight.
And we went iiiin.

The land held us close, and I'm so grateful to the homie, *Iris, for hosting us in her beautiful yard that evening/night!
So, instead of idolizing my former production timeline, I offer a sassy-ass saunter, not a sprint, towards eventual production of episodes.
Now, I'm taking the scenic route. And if you’re someone who knows that kind of pace, or maybe needs it, you can come with me.
Here's our first stop.
*Iris and I share the tings of unschooling authors and grieftenders.
