Week 1: Grief, Trust, & Tenderness.

What Ending is Still Teaching You?
Peace! Let's start off this five-week Savorism practice with a question that’s been working me over lately:
What ending — recent or long ago — is still teaching you something about yourself?
Not what you “got over.”
Not what you’ve “healed from.”
But what’s still alive somewhere in your body, still shaping how you move, how you trust, how you choose.
Endings don’t always announce themselves with a slam.
Sometimes they sneak up on us.
Sometimes we don’t realize something ended until months later, when we feel the ache or the emptiness where a hope or a plan or an aliveness used to be.
This week, let yourself notice. Not to fix it. Not to judge it. Just to notice:
– What is that ending still asking of you?
– What does it want you to remember?
– How do you want to relate to it now?
If you’ve got ten minutes, maybe after a shower or during a quiet meal, let yourself sit with this. Maybe write a few notes. Maybe just breathe with the question.
Share here, in the comments, a li'l sliver of what you saw. Or share what surprised you about this practice.
See you next week for the next reflection.
