Savor Complex Newsletter.
SAVORIST: One whose life experiences have led them to recognize an urgent need for them to slow down so that they can acknowledge harm, detangle/deschool from harm, and notice important connections. SAVORING has a core practice that allows us to tap into seven senses to bring ourselves into an awareness of our savor complex. We learn, through the core practice, what a savor complex is, and how to install one to prepare for, or to integrate significant life experiences.
Grief Groves Newsletter.
I spent most of 2024 and the first part of 2025 in a grief garden with 29 other people. It's kind of like a gardening club, but instead of little plants, we tend to our grief. And instead of focusing solely on grief that comes from the death of a person or animal, we focus on death of cycles, relationships, identities, and expectations. We call that Kananápo. These areas of grief felt like big trees, not small plants, so I'm naming this Grief Grove to honor the feeling of groves of trees, and a foggy, blurry, honest, grief-facing space. Grief literacy education to strengthen our grieftending skills will live here. Join me.
Designated Spaces
In addition to those newsletters, I also have designated areas for Unschooling OG Ish and Mygration Stories. Below is a bit more about each of those, and you can find all Unschooling OG Ish in this space, and all Mygration Stories in this one.
A commemorative garden of my writings and videos from the thick of my family's unschooling life (2012 to 2022). My daughters are now young adults and my focus has shifted, but the lessons and depth of connection continue to serve our family. Join this newsletter to read, watch, and listen. I will slowly continue to add much of the unschooling-related content I have put out into the world during those years, as well as newly integration unschooling wisdom that for sure will arise.
Mygration Stories. Short stories, prose, poetry, and collage in written, audio, and video forms about migration in a diversity of forms--geographical, spiritual, and mindset-wise.
